Aug 24 - Sept 10th my family and I will be taking a strategic trip to California to fast and pray with theCall Sacramento for God to raise up a consecrated generation to fulfill the Great Commission. We will also be visiting historic revival sites to pray.
My favorite moment tonight was ministry time. Nearly half the room came to the front to be prayed over and we had a great time singing heartfelt medlies like Heart After You, Majestic and My Soul Sings. I just really love getting to see the Lord minister to people from an up-close perspective. The Lord shows a new part of Himself and imparts a greater love for people when you are ministering to them. I was thinking today that what we say/sing/pray/teach these people can greatly affect how they view and interact with God. If we teach them wrongly, it can be detrimental. Talk about responsibilities and fear of the Lord.
Tonight my Dad spoke on what enjoyable prayer is and be affective in it. It was awesome and I’m not just saying that to make it sound good! He has come to a new level of focus and teaching that really had me hooked.
Here’s a few key phrases from tonight:“The fate of this city is mostly dependant on if the Church is praying.”
“God’s not boring, you’re boring.”
Two words: blown up. I love to watch people in the post-Jesus-encounter-blow-up-syndrome, where they are laid out on chairs, looking very coma-esque.
This day was my favorite so far. The Lord spoke to me at 6pm worship and reminded me of some things I had forgotten. Worship was also especially good that night for the main session. Holy Spirit was engaging our hearts throughout every worship song; it even led to calling forth the youth towards the end to be prayed over and release an impartation.
Renee’ spoke on what the groan of intercession is and how/why we partner with Jesus in intercession. She explained that we partner with Jesus because He delights to hear us and see our face (SOS 2:14.) There was some pretty intense times during her preaching where she cried and there was moments of heavy silence. She did a really great job!
More people came tonight than last night so the Spiritual engagement in the room was slightly heightened. Worship at the beginning was great. God released a lot of joy as we sang “no one else can love You like I love You Lord, cause I was made unique in Your eyes I was made to bring You joy.”
My mom spoke on old revival stories and how it we related to today.
Around 50 responded to ministry time and a lot of them were crying and being healed in their bodies and hearts as God released His love in worship.
Tonight was great! The crowd tonight was small, but they had a big heart of worship! The Lord directed worship to meditate on His holiness and beauty. I really enjoy when worship dies down to transition and the crowd keeps worshiping in their own words.
My Dad spoke on what happened in Boston and what God is doing in raising up revivalists who are set apart from lesser pleasures in order to attain the greater pleasures.
Ministry time was unique. Many came up to recieve an impartation of God’s heart. God allowed the worship team to kinda “fall apart” (through some sickness and leaving to pray) to a great Intimate time of worship.
Looking forward to tommorrow.
